Ulster trio Jamie Smith, Darren Cave and Simon Danielli have been ruled out of the province’s Magners League clash with Edinburgh this weekend.
Smith (shoulder) and Cave (hamstring) have yet to recover from injuries sustained in Ulster’s Heineken Cup opener with Aironi a fortnight ago, while Danielli injured his shoulder during last Sunday’s defeat to Biarritz.
Brian McLaughlin will name the starting XV and replacements on Thursday.
Ulster’s clash with Edinburgh takes place in Murrayfield on Friday at 7.05pm.
