Liverpool fans stabbed in Naples

Two Liverpool fans have been hospitalised in Italy after being attacked by Napoli fans, according to reports.

The fans were said to be stabbed after being attacked by Napoli fans wielding knives and baseball bats. Liverpool are in Naples ahead of Thursday night’s Europa League encounter against Napoli at the San Paolo stadium.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has confirmed two Liverpool fans are in hospital in Naples.
