The Irish Daily Mirror leads with the story that a married brother and sister, who already have one child and are expecting child number two, are fleeing Ireland because they’re terrified they’ll be tracked down.

‘James’ (the brother) told the Mirror: “We had to leave Ireland because it’s like a village here and it’s only a matter of time before people find out who we are.”

The couple grew up 100 miles apart and have been together for eight years. They claim they didn’t lie on any of the paperwork when they applied to get married, although they could face time behind bars if the authorities become aware of their incestuous relationship.

The Irish Sun has the story that it could be an RTE star who bagged the €16million weekend Lotto jackpot, as the winning ticket was bought in posh shop Donnybrook Fair, popular with the great and good from the State broadcaster as it’s just down the road from their D4 HQ.

The Sun also has a picture of Wayne and Coleen Rooney in the swimming pool of the 7-star Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai celebrating Wayne’s 25th birthday… and his new €280,000-a-week pay deal.
