The offer will last for one hour at various Applegreen outlets between 8am and 4pm on Friday.

Applegreen has announced that 24 outlets throughout Ireland will reduce the price of fuel to €0.247 per litre today (24 July) as part of a range of offers to customers to celebrate its birthday.

The offer will be available in those 24 Applegreen outlets for one hour only between the hours of 8am and 4pm on Friday. Details of what time each one-hour sale will take place at the 24 participating locations will be revealed on Applegreen’s social media channels throughout the day.

Applegreen says that the offer is likely to be one of Ireland’s biggest ever fuel sales and that customers will potentially be able to fill their tanks for approximately €10-15 depending on the size of their car.

The times and locations of outlets where the fuel sale will take place will be revealed on Applegreen’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts between 8am and 4pm today. While Applegreen has not revealed the 24 participating locations, it has been confirmed that Applegreen Rathcoole in Dublin will be the first outlet offering fuel at €0.247 per litre from 8am-9am on Friday.

As well as that, Applegreen has also announced a wide range of special offers that will be available at all outlets nationwide, all day on Friday, with many products discounted to €0.24, €2.47 and €24.70 as part of the company’s ‘24/7’ birthday festivities.

Customers, for example, will be able to purchase a chicken fillet roll or a breakfast roll for €2.47, a 99 ice-cream, a chocolate bar or a croissant for 24 cents and chocolate and snack share bags, a keep cup or two Red Bulls for €2.47.

Commenting on the Applegreen birthday offers, Joe Barrett, Chief Operating Officer of Applegreen, said: “We certainly hope it will be Ireland’s biggest ever fuel sale and we’re going to try and ensure that as many of our customers as possible can fill their tank for 24.7 cent per litre on Friday.

“We’ll be announcing exact details of where and when the sales are happening on Friday on our social platforms, so customers must be ready to jump on it.

“Participating locations are spread right around Ireland and each outlet will have one hour to sell as much fuel as possible so we’re expecting a few traffic jams and a lot of very happy customers.

“This is our way of sharing our ‘24/7’ birthday with customers and reaffirming our commitment to value and community.”
