January – the struggle is real.

You’re skint, payday seems further away than ever and you’re staring down the barrel of three weeks of social hibernation. Summer is months away, the weather is miserable and Christmas already seems like a distant memory.

Luckily, Citroën are here to help you shake off that seasonal hangover.

To celebrate the launch of the new Citroën C3, Citroën will be harnessing the power of social media to launch a "feel good" revolution this January and they want you to get involved!

Blue Monday (16 January) is known as the most depressing day of the year but that’s about to change. Citroën plan to transform it into Feel Good Day and they need your help to do it.

Citroën is asking JOE readers to use social media to suggest random acts of kindness that can make a difference in people's life.

Each time you nominate a friend to receive a random act of kindness, Citroën will make an €2 donation to children’s charity Make-A-Wish Ireland on your behalf, with a target to reach a total donation of €3,000. You can nominate by commenting on the campaign posts on the HER, JOE or Citroën Facebook and Instagram pages, by sending us a Snapchat or by tweeting with the #C3FeelGood and tagging the friend that you feel deserves a treat on Feel Good Monday.

Do you know someone that needs cheering up or deserves a treat? Tell Citroën how they can help and it might just happen.

Citroën will be taking to the streets of Dublin on Blue Monday to show off the new C3 and eradicate those January blues. Comedian Marcus O'Laoire will be helping them to carry out random acts of kindness and to make Feel Good Day a day that everyone can enjoy.

Maybe your best mate's feeling miserable after dropping their new iPhone down the loo. Why not ask Citroën to replace it?

Is your overworked Dad a die-hard U2 fan? He'd probably love a ticket for this summer's gig in Croker.

Is it your flatmate's dream to take Rihanna out on a dinner date? It won't hurt to ask!
