Mondello Park welcomes the best British and Irish talent for a feast of rallycross championship action

Mondello Park will be the scene for an exhilarating weekend of motorsport when the British Rallycross Championship rolls into town. Fans are in for a treat as the British Rallycross Championship takes on the Irish National Rallycross Championship over two days.

This joint championship round will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 22 and 23 July.

It promises to be a memorable occasion, with national pride on the line. The Irish drivers will be looking to emerge victorious on home soil but they’ll have their work cut out against a high-class UK field.

There are points on the line for this combined Irish Rallycross Championship and British Rallycross Championship so there’ll be no holding back on the track.

The action will be switched up from Saturday to Sunday. The clockwise layout being used for the first day of racing. This will be switched around on day two, with drivers taking on the anticlockwise layout.

Fans can look forward to an exciting weekend that will also include RX buggies, retro rallycross and plenty of evening entertainment. Weekend camping is available on-site so travelling fans can make a weekend of it in the dedicated campsite.

It promises to be a great day out, whether you’re a dedicated rallycross fan or a newbie to motorsport. With national rivalry adding an extra edge to the occasion, the home support will doubtless be appreciated on the day.

Daily tickets are €15 for adults and weekend tickets are €25, with free admission for accompanied under 16s. Tickets can be purchased online. You can find out more information here
