QUIZ: How many of these questions on the Driver Theory Test can you answer correctly?
How well do you know your rules of the road?
Before applying for a learner permit to drive on Irish roads, motorists must complete the Driver Theory Test, a test of general road safety knowledge and motoring legislation introduced in 2001.
This month, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) introduced 17 new questions to the test, all of which are related to drink-driving, and two of these new questions will be presented in each of the changed tests from October 10.
All of the 17 questions can be viewed in greater detail here.
The general format of the test has not changed, however, so if you were to do it right now, without assistance, how do you think you’d get on?
Find out by taking on our quiz below, made up of a range of sample questions in the test, which were kindly provided by the RSA.
