Tuesday? More like Choose Day, am I right?? Whatever, I was already leaving…

If you haven’t been to the cinema in a few days, there are some absolute crackers for you to enjoy (check out our reviews for them all here), but if you would rather an evening on the couch, then we’ve scoured the channels for the best options tonight:

TUESDAY 9 JULY

Sicario – FilmFour – 9pm

Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, and Josh Brolin star in this horror movie disguised as an action thriller, as a group of DEA agents attempt to take on some of the most powerful drug cartels in Mexico. One of the best movies of the decade.

Runaway Jury – Universal TV – 9pm

An all-star cast – Gene Hackman, Dustin Hoffman, John Cusack, Rachel Weisz, Jeremy Piven – star in this John Grisham adaptation, as two powerful men attempt to sway a jury to their side using any means necessary.

Conan The Barbarian – E4 – 9pm

Not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination, but if you were a fan of Jason Momoa taking his top off a lot in Aquaman, then you’ll get a lot more of that here.

Oblivion – ITV4 – 10pm

One of the more underrated movies in Tom Cruise’s career, this mysterious sci-fi action thriller finds him as the last man on Earth, who discovers that there may be a lot more to the sudden evacuation of the planet than he realised. Co-stars Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough, and Olga Kurylenko.

Swordfish – TCM – 10.55pm

Hugh Jackman is the world’s best hacker, John Travolta is the terrorist who needs his skills, and Halle Berry is the woman between them. A bonkers, brainless action movie that is still a total blast.

Loveless – FilmFour – 11.25pm

And now for something completely different, as this Best Foreign Language Oscar-nominee tells the story of a 12-year-old boy who runs away from home after witnessing his divorcing parents fighting one too many times, and how they are forced to work together to find him.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
