Our TV movie pick for tonight (Friday, 24 October) is Trespass, the 1992 action movie from director Walter Hill (48 Hrs, The Warriors) and writers Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis (the Back to the Future trilogy).
The film tells the story of two firefighters (played by Bill Paxton and William Sadler) in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who venture into gang-controlled territory to find and steal gold that's been hidden inside an abandoned building.
When the pair witness a murder, however, they become the targets of a crime lord (Ice-T) and his underling (Ice Cube).
Trespass was well-liked by critics upon release, but was not a big hit at the box office.
This is a shame because it blends a great premise with dynamic filmmaking, resulting in a mean-and-lean action thriller.
The movie is airing on TV tonight on the channel Legend Xtra at 9pm.
The film is also available to rent on Apple TV, Google Play and the Sky Store.
