A new teaser trailer confirms the returns of Jessica Lange as Constance Langdon from Murder House and Evan Peters as Cult villain Kai Anderson.

The trailer plays as a speedrun through the franchise's most memorable moments, Screen Rant notes, with Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett and Emma Roberts all reprising their Coven roles as Cordelia Goode, Marie Laveau and Madison Montgomery.

Coven favourites Jamie Brewer and Gabourey Sidibe also feature, while two of the show's most notorious villains, Twisty the Clown, played by John Carroll Lynch in Freak Show, and Murder House's Rubber Man, make their returns in the roughly 90-second teaser.

While an Irish streaming date has yet to be confirmed, previous seasons of American Horror Story have streamed on Disney+ in Ireland, where FX shows typically land.

In the meantime, horror fans looking for something to tide them over can check out the horror film Primate, one of the best-received thrillers streaming this year.
