Apparently the beginning of Avengers 4 is going to be a bit of shock for the audience

Another day, another Avengers 4 rumour…

It feels like only yesterday that we were discussing the rumours about the potential title of the still-untitled Avengers 4 (that is because it was only yesterday).

Now here we are, dealing with yet another A4 rumour, and one that could potentially present a very different outlook for the follow-up to Infinity War.

So let us get right into it, with the tweet that has sparked off the latest flurry of theories:

Now, that is a bit of a bombshell, because we all probably assumed that A4 would pick up pretty much straight after the finger-snapping events of A3, but this time gap could present some major changes to the layout of the MCU.

Primarily… remember Captain America: Civil War? Remember how the group basically turned on itself because it was split in two, as both Iron Man and Captain America found themselves fighting in different corners, but for the same good cause?

If there is a huge time gap in the movie-telling world of A4, then that amount of time could be enough to persuade some of the Avengers to realise that Thanos’ plan to kill off half of the universe’s population in order to save everyone from over-consuming the limited resources available might actually have been the right course of action.

Also, the very different timelines up perfectly with the apparently recast daughter of Ant-Man, who is set to be that much older than the character we’re used to seeing in the Ant-Man movies so far.

If you’re wondering who DanielRPK is, and why should we believe him, well, he is a writer for Super Bro Movies, and has been proven very correct in the past with his rumours on superhero movies, including giving us all the heads-up that DC Movies would start to ditch the MCU-style linked stories and start going more standalone with the heroes and villains.

Which is exactly what has started to happen.

Whether or not he’s right about the InfinityWar sequel, we’ll need to wait until April 2019 to find out for sure… or at least until the first trailer is released.
