Mister Stark, we don’t feel so good…
A little over two months to go before we get to see the biggest film of the year and one of the biggest sequels of all time.
Avengers: Endgame has been pretty light on details so far, especially since we know that marketing footage between now and when the movie is released will apparently only feature scenes from the first 20 minutes of the movie.
Tie that in to the fact that it is rumoured the final running time of the movie will be so long that it might require an intermission:

That is a lot of Endgame. Not that we’re complaining.
But one of the many, MANY things that we’re no closer to finding out is just what the direction the plot is going to be heading in following the fateful finger snap.
Well, to answer some of those questions, here is the first official plot synopsis, via Disney Australia:
“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”
So, yes, we assumed they would be assembling to avenge once more, but that final line really does instil a sense of fear and foreboding, doesn’t it?
If you remember back to right after the release of Infinity War, we got all theory heavy on what to expect (read all of our thoughts on that right here), but we’re still aiming in the dark right now.
We’ll see exactly what those consequences might be once Avengers: Endgame is released on Thursday 25 April.
