In 2018, Tom Hardy is a megastar. He’s blown us away in movies like The Dark Knight Rises, Bronson, Legend and Dunkirk and
the trailer for his first superhero starring role Venom dropped on Thursday.
Two decades ago, things were very different.
Back in 1998, Hardy appeared on Channel 4’s classic morning show The Big Breakfast, when he was a 20-year-old fresh-faced aspiring model.
As part of the show’s ‘Find Me A Model’ competition, he was interviewed by Denise Van Outen. Far from the sharply-dressed Hardy we’re used to today, back then he was rocking very questionable long hair, held back with a band.
He also had a very '90s ensemble of combats and a white vest. With that look, you could definitely see him slotting right into 911 or A1, or any other B-tier boyband of the era.
