No, it’s not an update on Tiger King 2.0.
It’s even better than that.
On 26 October – that’s THIS Bank Holiday Monday, calendar fans – Netflix will add the excellent Irish thriller Calm With Horses to its streaming service.
Produced by Michael Fassbender with Element Pictures, Calm With Horses stars the always-super Barry Keoghan, rising star Cosmo Jarvis, and two-time IFTA winner Niamh Algar, in a trio of terrific performances, as it delves deep into the dark and murky gangster world of rural Ireland.
With its incredibly short cinematic release unfortunately hampered by the bastard of a pandemic earlier in 2020, this is now your chance to see one of the most tense and impressive Irish films in years.
