Welcome.

All of today’s talk is about the green list, but we’ve got a list of our own for you guys.

That’s right. A list of movies on TV.

Here are the best options on the box tonight.

The Iron Lady – 6.50pm – Film Four

A Margaret Thatcher biopic. Kind of like the opposite of the Michael Collins movie.

The Fugitive – 9pm – TCM

A mainstay of televised movies. Harrison Ford finds himself at the centre of a conspiracy and has to evade capture and bring the bad guys to justice. Everyone loves it.

Bram Stoker’s Dracula – 9pm – Horror Channel

Not an exact retelling of the Irishman’s classic novel, despite the title. Directed by Godfather director Francis Ford Coppolla and starring Gary Oldman, Keanu Reeves, Anthony Hopkins and Winona Ryder.

Sees Dracula travel to Victorian London looking for love.

The Look of Silence – 10pm – Sky Documentaries

A companion piece to The Act of Killing, a stark but hugely acclaimed documentary made about the Indonesian genocide. A middle-aged man confronts the murderers of his brother during the war.

The Outlaw Josey Wales – 9pm – ITV 4

One of your dad’s favourite films. A Confederate soldier seeks to avenge his murdered family and befriends a cohort of Native Americans. Clint Eastwood plays the title role.

Fargo – 11.45pm – ITV4

A Coen Brothers classic and progenitor of the popular Netflix series.

Frances McDormand is a Minnesota Nice trooper who has to investigate a very messy series of murders. Also stars heavy-hitters like Tommy Lee Jones, Steve Buscemi and William H. Macy.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
