There has only been one 2023 release so far to make over $1 billion worldwide at the box office.
We're now halfway through 2023, and we've had some absolutely huge box office hits at the cinema so far.
While there is sure to be plenty more before the year is over - Mission Impossible 7, Barbie, Oppenheimer, Aquaman 2, The Exorcist: Believer, Wonka, Dune Part Two, The Marvels - these have been all of the movies that have made of $100 million at the worldwide box office so far in 2023.
Below we've also added in their reported production budget, and the general rule of thumb is that whatever that number is, you double it for promotional costs, and then you can gauge how much - if any - profit has been made.
And keep in mind, some of these releases are still early into their cinematic run, so these are not the final box office numbers for all of them. So knowing all of that, here we go:
