Channing Tatum is one cool guy…
As you may know the recent Sony email hack has revealed some pretty harsh criticism of the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Michael Fassbender to name but a few.
Channing Tatum is the latest star under the scope but his big revelation isn’t as embarrassing as some of the others. In fact, it has somewhat mellowed out the embarrassment of Sony because it is downright hilarious.
Tatum plays one of the leading roles in the comedy blockbuster Jump Street films and they’ve been a huge success. 22 Jump Street was released in July and was a huge success becoming the second highest grossing R-rated comedy movie of all time.
In an email thread to Sony Pictures co-chair Amy Pascal and some other Sony executives, Tatum wrote the following:
“F YOU TED !!!! SECOND OF ALLLL TIMMMMME BEEEOTCH!!!! COME ON JUMPSTREETERS WE GOT CATE BLANCHETT WIT DIS BOX OFFICE BITCHES!!!!!!!!”
He continued on to write the words; “AAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…” for another 14,553 characters.
Tatum was clearly delighted to have topped Seth MacFarlane’s comedy Ted and he was pretty enthusiastic in his celebration, we just wonder if Jonah Hill wrote back a response. That would definitely be worth a read…
We would like to add that the Cate Blanchett reference is to do with a joke in the film rather than a pop at the film star.
If you’re anything like us then you will probably have read that email in the style of Tatum’s Jump Street character Jenko.
