Who is the best faker you know?

Netflix have announced that they are setting up a casting call for their new reality game show The Circle, in which “anyone can be anyone and contestants compete against each other to be deemed the most popular”.

The teaser for the new show went live on Friday morning:

Adapted from the Channel 4 show, The Circle finds a group of strangers living together in an apartment block for three weeks, but they never actually meet each other.

Instead, they interact via a virtual medium, giving each of them the opportunity to be whoever they want to be, in order to win over the other contestants, and whoever gets “the most likes” at the end of the three weeks has a chance to go home with A LOT of money.

It is basically social media brought to life, but also… kind of… not?

Here is a clip from when it was on Channel 4 last year:

Netflix have taken the show’s concept and expanded so now the new series will be taking place not only in the UK, but also the USA, and soon in France and Brazil as well.

In order to take part in the show (at least for the UK leg), you must be aged 18 years or over by 1 July 2019, and you must be resident or have the right to reside in the UK (Not sure if Brexit will make that more difficult for potential Irish players or not?).

If any of that sounds like something you or someone you know would be interested in, then check out the online application form right here.
