Danny Boyle and cast are officially game for the Trainspotting sequel
Choose life...and a sequel.
This has been almost 20 years in the making, but it finally looks as though the follow-up to one of the best British films in history is set to happen - a sequel to Trainspotting.
All the original cast, including Ewan McGregor and Jonny Lee Miller, are good to go, along with the director Danny Boyle and Trainspotting screenwriter, John Hodge.
Although a title has yet to be confirmed, the movie will be based on Porno - Irvine Welsh's sequel to the best-selling Trainspotting novel.
It appears as though the long standing rift between McGregor and Boyle - the Scottish actor was allegedly dropped from The Beach in favour of Leonardo DiCaprio at the last minute - is settled, and we're delighted.
If this film can boast a similar soundtrack to the original then we'll be happy.
