Disney+ has revealed its line-up of new releases for the month, and it is IMPRESSIVE.
Disney+ will be adding new Marvel, a sequel to a much-loved comedy, a very fun true-story, a dark psychological thriller and one of the biggest movies of all time in June. So here are new must-watch movies and shows coming to Disney+ in June, starting with…
Avatar: The Way Of Water – June 7
Now officially the third biggest movie of all time, and the first of four Avatar sequels now confirmed to be in production. The blockbuster arrived in cinemas in December, but it finally arrives on Disney’s streamer this month. We caught up with some of the cast of the movie, and you can check out those chats right here:
Saint X – June 7
All eight episodes of this dark psychological thriller will be available at launch. The show tells the story of Emily (Alycia Debnam-Carey), who travels to a paradise Caribbean island to try to solve the brutal murder of her sister, which took place 20 years earlier.
Killing Eve – June 7
Season two of the hit series delves deeper into the very complicated relationship between British Intelligence investigator Eve (Sandra Oh), and the incredibly lethal assassin she’s been assigned to capture, Villanelle (Jodie Comer).
Flamin’ Hot – June 9
Directed by Eva Longoria, this is the true story a janitor at snack food company Frito Lay who creates the Flamin’ Hot Cheeto, which would completely disrupt the food industry.
The Full Monty – June 14
Robert Carlyle, Mark Addy and Tom Wilkinson reprise their roles from the hit 1997 comedy, this will show what happened to the lads and their local Sheffield community 25 years after they took their kit off on stage. All eight episodes will be available at launch.
Secret Invasion – June 21
Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) has been off planet for a while now, and we finally get to see what he’s been up to in those years. Turns out the shape-shifting alien race have been taking the place of some high profile folk within the MCU, and nobody can be trusted. The insanely stacked cast list includes Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Don Cheadle and our own Killian Scott.
