Freddie Flintoff has got skills.

In the series finale of A League Of Their Own, the gang of Jamie Redknapp, Freddie Flintoff and Rob Beckett headed down to Nowlan Park in Kilkenny to take part in a half-time penalty challenge.

But of course, the trio could not do that without the help of some expert guidance so they enlisted the help of hurling legend DJ Carey to give them a few tips on the correct way to use a death stick hurl.

Freddie manages to transfer some of his skills with the cricket bat over the hurling pitch as he shows off some lovely touches and strikes, which of course, upsets Jamie Redknapp no end.

Complaining about Freddie’s skill, he said: “Every single challenge we do it ends up being something that Freddie is good at. He definitely done [hurling] before. 100%.”

The moaning of Redknapp didn’t go down well with DJ Carey, who said: “Jamie was a bit moany. I think as a coach you need to put a guy in his place.”

That’s one way of putting it.

With Jamie struggling, comedian Rob Beckett turned to DJ Carey to see if they can make things easier on Jamie: “He’s really getting the hump. Can we do something he’s good at?”

To which DJ responds: “Like what? Sun bathing is it?”

The series finale of A League Of Their Own airs this Thursday at 9pm on Sky One and streaming service NOW TV.
