Evangeline Lilly missed out on one big part of Ant-Man and The Wasp, but she might get to do it in Avengers 4

Rory Cashin

This is something we definitely want to see her do in Avengers 4.

Imagine, if you can for a moment, that you’re heading on set for your part in a huge Marvel movie.

In your mind, you’ve geared up for playing the superhero, and you’ve mentally prepared for one thing in particular.

This one thing, this is something that you’ve been DYING to do.

It is something you’re very excited to get to do, and when you know the powers that your superhero character possesses, it, of course, makes a very real kind of sense.

And then it doesn’t happen.

This is exactly what happened to Evangeline Lilly when she rocked up to the set of Ant-Man And The Wasp, when she found that she wasn’t actually going to get to fly.

Well, not “fly” exactly, but at least do a mixture of green-screen and wire-work that would at least make it appear on-screen that she has taken flight.

Of course, once Lilly describes why exactly she has been denied the right to fly, it makes total and complete sense.

But here’s hoping they figure out a way to work around it when everyone piles on for the Infinity War sequel…

Check out Lilly’s answer from 2.05 in the interview below, or check out the whole lot to hear her talk about her favourite MCU movie, as well as her strong Irish roots and wanting her own personal local tour guide for when she visits “the motherland”…

On top of Lilly, we also chatted to her Ant-Man co-star Paul Rudd, her movie dad Michael Douglas, and the movie’s director Peyton Reed. You can check all those chats out right here.

Ant-Man And The Wasp is in Irish cinemas right now, and you can check out the trailer right here:
