WATCH: One couple from First Dates Ireland taught us all a new sexuality term
Every day is a school day.
The latest episode of First Dates Ireland (aired on Thursday 31 January) was overflowing with talking points.
We could have discussed the lady who said she "makes cakes":

Or this incredible double entendre:
“You haven’t tasted my fish.”
“I look forward to tasting your fish.”

But maybe the word that has remained in most viewer's minds afterward is "Homoflexible".
During one of the dates, we meet Serdzan and James, and while discussing both of their coming-out-to-their-parents stories (including one adorable moment when James' Mum took down the picture of the Pope in her home because he was anti-gay), Serdzan reveals to James that he believes himself to be homoflexible.

Once again, First Dates Ireland is bringing some little-talked about subject matters into a much wider public domain, and tackling each topic with sensitivity and intelligence.
Any folk out there who perceived sexuality to simply be binary had their opinions blown wide open by Serdzan's simple explanation of his own sexual orientation.
Not that it would make any difference to two people who find each other attractive and interesting, and in a happy turn of events, they both said that they'd totally be up for Date Two!
The elusive synchronised double-yes!

Everyone is still invested to see how their relationship goes. Best of luck to you both!
