During one of the dates, we meet Serdzan and James, and while discussing both of their coming-out-to-their-parents stories (including one adorable moment when James' Mum took down the picture of the Pope in her home because he was anti-gay), Serdzan reveals to James that he believes himself to be homoflexible. Any folk out there who perceived sexuality to simply be binary had their opinions blown wide open by Serdzan's simple explanation of his own sexual orientation.
