El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.

While we were sleeping, Netflix went and dropped a minute-long trailer for the Breaking Bad movie. That’s right, the iconic five-season show starring Bryan Cranston as teacher-turned-drug dealer Walter White? It’s coming back.

The show’s return has long been rumoured, and this week Bob Odenkirk (who plays Saul Goodman), said that the movie had already been shot in its entirety.

Netflix have quickly followed that up by releasing a teaser trailer, which sees Jesse Pinkman’s old friend Skinny Pete in an interrogation room, refusing to tell the DEA of Pinkman’s whereabouts.

Jesse Pinkman – played by Aaron Paul – will be the focus of the movie, and the plot will see him trying to come to terms with his past. Skinny Pete makes reference to the torture Jesse endured at the hands of Uncle Jack’s Nazi gang towards the end of season five, and claims he doesn’t know where his old friend is.

Not much else is known about the project for now, but we do know that it will be here as early as 11 October. Watch the teaser trailer below:

And perhaps the best news for fans of the show is that creator Vince Gilligan is in charge of the project, writing and directing it.
