Only a few weeks away now, people.
We’d like to say that excitement is at fever pitch ahead of the Simpsons/Family Guy crossover on FOX later this month, but considering that both shows are past their peak, that excitement comes with a healthy dose of scepticism over whether or not it’ll prove to be a success.
The Simpsons Guy episode will air on September 28 and in an effort to build a little bit of excitement before the broadcast, Fox have released a collection of still images to give fans a glimpse of what’ll be in store.
Fox also released a teaser trailer for the episode a couple of months back, which you can view here and with two further crossovers planned – one with Futurama and the other with the old Simpsons characters as they were back in the beginning on The Tracy Ullman Show – it’ll be interesting to see if they can work.
For now, let’s just say we’ll wait and see.
