Our TV movie pick for tonight (Friday, 21 Friday) is God's Creatures, the acclaimed 2022 Irish psychological drama starring Emily Watson and Paul Mescal.
Set in a small and sleepy Irish fishing village, the film centres around Aileen (Watson) who is delighted when her son Brian (Mescal) unexpectedly returns home from Australia.
"For Aileen, Brian’s return is a beacon of light and hope in her otherwise stifled existence, but her unfailing loyalty to her son is soon tested when sinister allegations about him begin to surface," a plot synopsis reads.
