With Ryan Tubridy and The Late Late Show on a break, Graham Norton has the Friday night chat show landscape all to himself.
Perhaps that’s why this week’s edition – Friday 4 January – brings something quite different form the normal format, as the host takes the viewer behind the scenes.
Norton will share some unique advice and give insights into what makes his show tick and how to tell a good story along with it, calling on some famous friends for help.
To wit, he’s recruited the likes of David Tennant, Bill Bailey, Rob Brydon, Miriam Margolyes and Josh Widdicombe to gush over why the Corkman’s show is best in class.
This special also features classic stories told by Robbie Williams, Maggie Smith, Salma Hayek, Kate Beckinsale, Will.i.am and Tom Hanks.
So it’s still a blockbuster affair, just not your usual format. Decent.
