This graphic designer has designed a new minimalist movie poster every day for the last year

Movie posters really are a highly impressive art-form all on their own.

A great movie poster should be able to get you along to see a movie without the need to seek out every single accompanying trailer, or it should be able to remind you of your favourite film with just one identifying image.

Graphic designer Pete Majarich decided to take it upon himself to design a brand new minimalist poster every single day for a year, and put the the entire project together up on Vimeo for us to enjoy.

The project encompasses everything from classics like Apocalypse Now and Vertigo to modern highlights like Inception and Predator, and even looks forward to Alien: Covenant, adding to that movie’s already highly impressive collection of posters.

You can check out the video below, and even though it is barely over two minutes long, we guarantee you’ll be pausing it pretty much every single second.
