Nine months on, some people are still suffering from Game Of Thrones withdrawal, even though (A) they probably shouldn't, and (B) there is more on the way.
However, if you can't wait until 2022 to get your fix, then The Green Knight might tide you over, as (A) it is out much sooner, and (B) looks all kinds of amazing.
A fantasy re-telling of the medieval story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, it is written and directed by David Lowery, the man behind some visionary outings like A Ghost Story, The Old Man & The Gun, and Ain't Them Bodies Saints.
The cast includes Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire), Alicia Vikander (Tomb Raider), Joel Edgerton (The Great Gatsby), Sean Harris (Mission: Impossible - Fallout), and our own Barry Keoghan.
The visuals from the trailer certainly do suggest a nightmarish, violent take on the myth, with some eye-popping moments (What's that coming over the hill? Is it a monster?), but it is tough to see that wooden dude at the very end and not think of The Night King, not to mention that some actual Game Of Thrones cast members pop up here, too.
The Green Knight arrives in US cinemas on Friday 29 May, with no set release date for this side of the Atlantic.
