The show has a packed music line-up this week.

Friday is right around the corner which means RTÉ has revealed who will be appearing on The Late Late Show this week.

Among the guests are Oscar-nominated director Lenny Abrahamson and Cork-born actress Alison Oliver who will be chatting to host Ryan Tubridy about their new drama series Conversations with Friends.

The latest adaptation of a Sally Rooney novel after the runaway success of Normal People in 2020, Conversations with Friends will come to RTÉ One and RTÉ Player on Wednesday, 18 May.

Mark Feehily of Westlife fame will also be joining Tubridy on Friday to talk about fatherhood, appearing on The Masked Singer and getting back on stage with his fellow bandmates this summer.

Feehily will perform two songs on the programme as well as part of the episode’s packed music line-up.

Also appearing on the show will be Irish musicians John Sheahan, Paul Brady and Mundy who were all born on 19 May.

The trio will share some stories on the Late Late while playing some of their biggest hits.

On top of this, there will be a very special performance from composer RuthAnne Cunningham and some of the Late Late Toy Show kids including Saoirse Ruane.

This is as they get ready to make what is billed as “a very special announcement that has been in the works for quite some time”.

The Late Late Show returns to screens this week on RTÉ One on Friday, 13 May at 9.35pm.
