Listen up, ya flamin’ mongrels. Alf Stewart himself is coming to Cork later this month

This is kind of a big deal

This is kind of a big deal.

Our obsession with all things Home and Away knows no bounds in Ireland and those fascinated with events in Summer Bay will want to get themselves to Cork later this month.

Why? Well stone the flamin’ crows but Ray Meagher, the man behind the one and only Alf Stewart, is coming to The Bishopstown Bar in Cork on Saturday, March 28.

Tickets to meet Alf (which include a meet and greet, photos, autographs, Q and A and more) are €15 including booking fee, but the bar themselves are giving away two VIP passes on their Facebook page.

Home and Away stars have made personal appearances at venues all over Ireland in recent years, but with all due respect to Brax (Steve Peacocke) and even the lovely April (Rhiannon Fish), none of them hold a candle to Alf.

It’s a bit early to be bigging up one occasion as the event of the year already, but it’ll take something special to top this.

With only a few weeks left to go until the big event, of course, you might say it’s getting closer each day *JOE goes to get coat
