Love Island winners land almost half the final vote

Julia Majchrzak, 26, and Lorenzo Alessi, 28, locked in 46.9% of the final vote to take the title and a £50,000 prize, which they will share equally. The final aired on Monday night, and ITV has now published the full breakdown. Kavan Murphy, 21, and Jasmine Muller, 27, finished second on 27.1%, with Simba Kudyiwa, 24, and Angelista Gunda, 24, third on 26% — the runners-up separated by just 1.1%. Alessi added: "Cheers to everyone. It's been a crazy summer and thanks to you guys for making it such a crazy ending. I haven't stopped laughing. I didn't think that this would happen walking in all of those weeks ago, but what a crazy way to end what's been an unforgettable summer." The figures were confirmed by ITV, as RTÉ reported.
