A new season is “in development”
Spoiler alert.
If you’re reading this then you’re clearly a Love/Hate fan and probably know everything about it. Grand. Then again, some of you may still be catching up with Stuart Carolan’s epic crime drama.
In that case, in our strongest Nidge accent “we’re warning you!” because there are spoilers here.
Still with us? Cool. It has been one year to the day since Nidge bit the bullet, or a hail of them to be exact, and The Irish Mirror have reported that a source (it’s always a secret source) has some details about Season 6.
They report “locations and new talent are being scouted for Love/Hate’s big comeback” and that the season will focus on Patrick, the man responsible for bringing King Nidge down.
The report adds that “Stuart (Carolan) is fascinated by the Traveller community. It was the only storyline that really interested him in season five and now Patrick has killed Nidge it seems a natural progression to follow Patrick’s story.
“Tom [Vaughan-Lawlor] is happy to pass the gauntlet on to Patrick. He was really impressed with his acting ability this year and he knows Stuart will write something amazing for him.”
