Film geeks, we’ve got some good and some bad news for you…
Good news first, the legendary director of Goodfellas, The Departed and Taxi Driver will be in Dublin next week.
Bad news, there’ll be a very select few who will actually get to see the great Scorsese in person, as he’s in town to pick up an award by Trinity College’s Philosophical Society on Friday 24 February and will take part in a Q & A afterwards.
Unfortunately, the event is only open to members of that society. Ultimate sad face emoji!
Scorsese will be joining the likes of Bono, Tim Cooke, Whoopi Goldberg, Al Pacino, Stephen Fry and Chris Hadfield on the recipients list of the prestigious award.
If there’s anyone out there with a giant trench-coat they reckon they could sneak us in under, we’d really appreciate it…
