The fourth Matrix movie is an absolute must-watch for fans of sci-fi action.
Ever since the third movie in the original Matrix trilogy arrived in cinemas in 2003, fans of the series have been keeping an eye out for any and all hints that there might be a fourth entry in the franchise.
Thankfully, their dreams came true when The Matrix Resurrections was released upon the world, and is available to stream with a NOW Cinema Membership.
In case you didn't know, the new movie brings back Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss as the iconic Neo and Trinity, while the movie is written and directed by Lana Wachowski, one of the co-writers and co-directors of the original trilogy.

Whereas the original trilogy was tackling its own themes at the time, this new movie puts the entire concept of sequels and remakes under the microscope, while pairing that with some forward-thinking and epic sci-fi action sequences.
Many legacy sequels will look to simply rehash the same plot as the original in the hopes of cashing in on the nostalgia, but this movie really pushes the envelope in terms of asking some big questions that you might not be expecting. It was an angle that critics found themselves taken by surprise by, too.
The Matrix Resurrections is available to stream with a NOW Cinema Membership.
