This would be incredible.

While news about a third series of True Detective is still thin on the ground, Matthew McConaughey has said that he would jump at the chance to play Rustin Cohle. Speaking on The Rick Eisen Show, the actor says he couldn't turn down the chance to return to, arguably, his most iconic role. This would be massive for True Detective fans, particularly those who were less than impressed by the second run of the macabre TV thriller starring Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn and Rachel McAdams.
