We can’t promise you a mortgage on a house that smells of rich mahogany.

There is absolutely nothing quite like the feeling of buying your first home, but it can seem like a massive mountain to climb at the beginning. One of the first things you can do to make sure you’re ticking all the right boxes is talk to people in the know.

If you get to enjoy a comedy classic at the same time, all the better. We’ve teamed up with EBS, the Mortgage Masters, to host movie screenings all over Ireland for first time buyers.

There are five of these nights happening in total, with the third taking place in Garter Lane Arts Centre in Waterford on Thursday, 13 June. As well as it being a free night at the movies, those in attendance will get to learn everything there is to know about how to get things going with a mortgage.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of attending this free event is fill in the application form below.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Expertise on buying a new home
  • One-to-one chats with EBS mortgage advisors
  • A fabulous goody bag for you to take home
  • A free drinks reception
  • Delicious food being served at 6.30pm
  • A special screening of Anchorman, which starts at 7.15pm

Don’t worry if you’re only at the very beginning of the process, the EBS Mortgage Masters can help you on every step of the way. If that doesn’t make you want to jump for joy, we don’t know what will.

(Please note: Places at this event are limited. To register your interest for tickets, simply fill in the entry form below. We will be in touch if you are chosen to attend.)

Lending criteria, terms and conditions will apply. EBS. d.a.c. is an authorised agent and servicer of EBS Mortgage Finance (a wholly-owned subsidiary of EBS d.a.c.). EBS d.a.c. and EBS Mortgage Finance are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
