Here is your movie menu for Wednesday, 28 December.

Enjoy!

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade – RTÉ2 – 5.40pm

Remember when we thought this was going to be the last one? Nope!

The Day After Tomorrow – FilmFour – 6.40pm

Dennis Quaid has to save his son Jake Gyllenhaal from tidal waves and snow storms.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle – Channel 4 – 6.50pm

The Rock and Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan and Jack Black got pulled into a videogame version of that dastardly boardgame.

Jurassic Park III – Sky Showcase – 7.15pm

The one where Sam Neill has a dream about a Velociraptor that says “ALAN!”

Gladiator – RTÉ2 – 9pm

Ridley Scott puts Russell Crowe front and centre for his sword and sandals epic.

Le Mans ’66 – FilmFour – 9pm

The most Dad movie to ever exist, about two guys (Matt Damon and Christian Bale) who want their race car to be faster than a different race car. Having said that, this movie is still very, very good.

Old School – Comedy Central – 9pm

“You’re my boy, Blue!”

What Happens in Vegas – Virgin Media One – 10pm

After a very drunken marriage, Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz realise they don’t actually like each other, but right as they’re about to get an annulment, they become millionaires. A watchable if not exactly good rom-com.

Heat – BBC Two – 10.30pm

Our pick for the night is quite literally the greatest crime thriller of all time. Sure, there may be others that are also excellent, but this is the best.

Al Pacino is LA’s best cop, Robert De Niro is LA’s best robber, and they’re on a collision course in Michael Mann’s effortlessly cool epic.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge – BBC One – 10.30pm

The fifth one. Not the worst one.

My Best Friend’s Wedding – TG4 – 10.40pm

Julia Roberts is the villain in her own rom-com, trying to break up the impending marriage of her best friend (Dermot Mulroney) and his girlfriend (Cameron Diaz). Rupert Everett steals the entire movie out from under everyone.

Saint Maud – FilmFour – 12.05am

A slow burn psychological horror detailing the relationship between a hospice nurse (Rings Of Power star Morfydd Clark) and her patient (Jennifer Ehle).

Rosemary’s Baby – Channel – 1.50am

Classic horror movie on at 1.50am, Part One.

Carrie – FilmFour – 1.50am

Classic horror movie on at 1.50am, Part Two.
