Here are the best movies leaving Netflix in April

You don’t have long.

With the sheer amount of new content added every few days, it’s easy to leave the Netflix watchlist on the long finger. However, sometimes you can leave it a little too long and miss some great films all together.

While Netflix is busy adding some excellent flicks to its repertoire, including a very tense heist thriller movie, they’re also taking some classics off their site for April.

So, if you have a free evening between now and April 30, then it may be a good time to take a look below and catch up on all of these great flicks before they leave Netflix.

Note: Some of the movies list below are leaving at the end of March, but there’s still time to catch them before they go.

Here are the best movies leaving Netflix in April

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
The seventh instalment of the highly successful Conjuring franchise, it’s a long way from the best, but still a good scare if that’s what you’re in to.

Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprise their roles as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who are looking into a case based off the real-life murder US trial where a suspect claimed demonic possession as a defense.

Leaving March 30

Hitch (2005)
Will Smith stars as a smooth talking “date doctor” who helps men woo women, but soon finds himself trying to woo a lady himself.

It’s got a bit more rom than com, but Hitch is still a solid entry in the genre and worth a watch if you haven’t seen it before.

Scarface (1983)
You don’t have long left to say hello to Tony Montana’s little friend.

Green Street (2005)
A beloved noughties flick about football hooliganism in the UK, starring Elijah Wood and Charlie Hunnam.

It spawned a couple of really, really bad sequels though, so best stick to the original.

Scary Movie (2000)
The first, and arguably the best, of the spoof comedy series, which mainly parodies the films Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Other films also getting a shout out are Halloween, The Shining, Friday the 13th, and The Blair Witch Project.

Scary Movie 2 & 3 are also leaving the streamer on the same day.

Spider-man: No Way Home (2021)
The final chapter in the very fun Tom Holland Spider-man trilogy which involves some brilliant cameos from previous (and arguably better) Spider-men of the past.

The Suicide Squad (2021)
The 2021 sequel to the controversial 2016 film, starring Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Sylvester Stallone and Viola Davis.

Much more critically successful than the original, it currently holds a strong 90% Rotten Tomatoes score and is seen as a step above its predecessor.

Plus, no Jared Leto Joker, so it’s a win/win!
