But specifically for tonight, for movies that you can watch on the telly, that list starts with...
Austin Powers in Goldmember - Comedy Central - 8pm
The trilogy closer brought in Beyonce, Michael Caine, Tom Cruise, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey and Steven Spielberg for the spy LOLs.
Kingsman: The Secret Service - E4 - 9pm
Speaking of spy LOLs, this tongue-in-cheek but still hyper-violent breakdown of the genre remains great fun.
Jaws - ITV4 - 9pm
Spielberg again, but he actually directs this one, still one of the greatest scary movies ever made.
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines - Film4 - 9pm
Arnie got paid A LOT for this movie, which was at one point the most expensive movie ever made. It doesn't hold a candle to the first two, but is actually a decent action movie.
Anaconda - MTV - 10pm
Jennifer Lopez must tackle a big, big, big, BIG snake in the depths of the Amazon. Silly, campy fun.
Home Again - RTÉ Two - 10.30pm
Reece Witherspoon headlines this rom-com about a woman who must rediscover who she really is when she discovers her partner has been cheating on her.
Dunkirk - RTÉ One - 10.35pm
Our pick of the night sees mega-director Christopher Nolan tackle a certain aspect of WWII, but in his usual twisty fashion. So we got the war from by land, by air and by sea, but all shows parallel, even though the events didn't take place at the same time.
Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Barry Keoghan, Harry Styles and loads more fill out the absolutely stacked cast. Check out our chats with some of them right here:
Terminator Genisys - Film4 - 11.10pm
Everyone clearly wanted this to be good, but it remains the worst of the Terminator movies to date.
47 Meters Down: Uncaged - BBC One - 11.45pm
More teens find themselves being hunted by more sharks, but this time in the claustrophobic confines of an underwater cave system.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part Two - Channel 4 - 12.10am
The action-filled closer to the dystopian quadrilogy.
Greta - RTÉ One - 12.35am
Filmed in Ireland, director Neil Jordan goes down the psychological thriller route with this story of an older woman (Isabelle Huppert) who develops a fixation on a stranger (Chloe Grace Moretz).
Rings - Film4 - 1.35am
One of the worst horror movies ever made. Avoid.
