A great mix of new additions to the Netflix catalogue this week!

If you’re looking for the best new Netflix movies to check out this week, we’ve trawled the library for the latest additions and picked out a dozen of the biggest titles, and we’ll let you know if they’re a must-watch or a must-avoid right here…

300
Gerard Butler, Michael Fassbender and loads of other buff lads get down to their leather underwear to save Sparta from an invading army in this stylish war movie. Netflix has also added the less good sequel, 300: Rise of an Empire.

ANGUS, THONGS AND PERFECT SNOGGING
A decent teen rom-com drama about a 15-year-old girl trying to find a boyfriend in time for her upcoming birthday party.

CHICKEN RUN
With the impending arrival of the long-delayed sequel exclusively to Netflix, now is a good time to go back and check out the great original.

THE DICTATOR
After the hits of Borat and Bruno, Sacha Baron Cohen began to fall off the comedy wagon, especially with this mostly unfunny comedy about a brutal dictator who heads to New York.

FAILURE TO LAUNCH
Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker star in this dumb but fun rom-com about a grown man still living with his parents (so… everyone in Ireland? Thanks housing crisis) and the woman hired to help him get his own life.

GOLD
Matthew McConaughey again, this time in an oddly boring crime drama about a group of men who head to the Amazon jungle in search of gold.

SCARY MOVIE
Netflix has also added Scary Movie 2 and Scary Movie 3 if you’re in a Scary Movie marathon kinda mood.

SPENCER
Ahead of the release of the final ever episodes of The Crown, you might want to check out this brilliantly told drama of a tension-filled staycation with the entire royal family, with Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana.

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME
The seventh biggest box office hit of all time!
