Netflix is adding the movie that ended Leonardo DiCaprio’s Oscar drought so your weekend is sorted

Leonardo DiCaprio will undoubtedly go down as one of the best actors of his generation. His wait for an Academy Award was one that became somewhat of a running joke in Hollywood, as it was starting to look like no matter what he did he wasn’t going to win one. But 2015 saw him finally make the breakthrough, as he won the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in The Revenant.

Well, you can enjoy the fruits of Leo’s labour this weekend as the hit movie is set to be added to Netflix. Despite Leo’s performance making the majority of the headlines for the movie, Domhnall Gleeson and Tom Hardy are absolutely exceptional in the 2015 blockbuster hit.

So if you’re staying in this weekend, and you just so happen to be tired of watching It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia for the 100th time, you have the chance to watch a modern classic that features some of the biggest names in Hollywood.

Other additions to Netflix includes the horror film 10 Cloverfield Lane, season two of the tv show Marseille and sci-fi film Mute. You’ve plenty to choose from if you’re having a lazy one this weekend.
