Netflix Ireland subscribers have a fresh batch of films to look forward to next month, with the streaming giant loading up its catalogue for August 2026. The headline addition is the action blockbuster The Fast and the Furious, the film that first put Vin Diesel behind the wheel as Dominic Toretto and launched one of cinema’s biggest franchises.
As happens at the start of every month, Netflix is jettisoning a fraction of its library at the end of July while adding a sizeable roster of new titles across the coming weeks. According to Screen Rant, the additions span dozens of films from various eras of movie history — not brand-new releases, but titles new to the platform in Ireland.
On the series side, two of the platform’s most popular originals return this month, with new seasons of Outer Banks and My Life with the Walter Boys both landing for Irish viewers. Between those returning box-sets and the wide spread of catalogue films arriving across a range of genres, there is plenty to keep subscribers busy through the summer.
With more titles still to be confirmed as the month goes on, it is worth checking back before the August line-up settles. For more on what to watch, see our latest movie news.
