Netflix release some very, very depressing news about Adam Sandler’s movies

Tony Cuddihy

Some things you just don’t want to know, but we’re going to tell you anyway.

Netflix don’t release information about the viewing habits of their viewers easily, which makes it even more depressing when they throttle us with the news that users have spent half a billion hours streaming the movies of Adam Sandler.

To make matters worse again, none of the three acceptable Sandler movies – Happy Gilmore, Punch Drunk Love, The Wedding Singer – appear on the streaming service in the UK and Ireland so it just begs the question; what the hell are you people watching?

We can’t even look at you right now.

Half a billion hours of The Ridiculous 6, Spanglish, The Do-Over, (spits) Anger Management, the horrible, horrible Grown-Ups.

Why? Just, why?

“We continue to be excited by our Sandler relationship and our members continue to be thrilled with his films,” Netflix said in a statement, and the world is fucked.
