All the new Star Wars stuff coming to Disney+ to celebrate May The Fourth

It includes a very funny crossover with The Simpsons.

May the Fourth be with you.

(And this is where you say: “And also with you.”)

Yep, we now have certain dates of the year celebrating specific cinematic events – much like 26 April celebrates the Alien movies, because it took place on a planet called LV-426… 4 26… April 26th – and in this case, May the 4th belongs to Star Wars.

To celebrate the date this year, Disney+ has launched loads of new Star Wars content for the aficionados of those adventures that took place a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…

Star Wars: The Bad Batch

The new animated show, which follows on from the events of the hit Clone Wars series debuts today, with a 75-minute first episode. It will follow a group of clones who find themselves differing from the rest of the clone army, in a galaxy that is constantly changing around them.

Maggie Simpson in ‘The Force Awakens From A Nap’

In a daycare far, far away… but still in Springfield, Maggie is on an epic quest for her stolen pacifier. Her adventure brings her face-to-face with young Padawans, Sith Lords, familiar droids, Rebel scum and an ultimate battle against the dark side, in this original short celebrating the Star Wars galaxy.

Star Wars Biomes

This 18-minute short film will allow you to take a virtual vacation to some of the Star Wars films’ most iconic and beloved locations, like Hoth, Tatooine, and Sorgan, as this charming series whisks you off for fly-over tours of a galaxy far, far away.

Star Wars Vehicle Flythroughs

Two short episodes show off arguably the two most iconic vehicles in the Star Wars galaxy – the Millenium Falcon and the Star Destroyer – showing off the interiors and exteriors of both ships in great detail.
