EXCLUSIVE: Niall Horan and Lewis Capaldi on their new show Homecoming

Rory Cashin

We quizzed the lads on tricky Irish town names AND we put their knowledge of each other to the ultimate test.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you already know that Niall Horan and Lewis Capaldi are BFFs.

And what better way to witness their fantastic friendship than through the medium of their brand new show, Homecoming: The Road To Mullingar.

Taking place across three days, the two lads travel around Ireland, with Niall pretty much taking Lewis on a road trip across the island, culminating in a visit back to Niall’s home town.

Along the way they hit up Grafton Street and the Guinness Storehouse, and Niall introduces Lewis to the local delicacy of … chicken fillet rolls.

In the run-up to the release of the show, JOE had an exclusive chat with the two lads to talk about what it was like to make. But since the show revolves around a trip around Ireland, we thought we’d have some fun and quiz them on some tricky Irish town names.

Not to be unfair, we then turned the tables, and did a round of tricky Scottish town names, to see if Lewis might have a better grasp of his own local geography.

And then, the ultimate BFF quiz. We put a twist on the classic quiz show of Mr. & Mrs., but getting Niall and Lewis to answer questions about each other, putting their friendship to the test!

Homecoming debuts on Virgin Media One at 10pm on Sunday, 16 October. Check out our full chats with the lads right here:
