Fans of Big Little Lies and The Undoing look to be in for a treat as their creator David E. Kelley is teaming up with star Nicole Kidman once again.
Their new project Nine Perfect Strangers will be arriving in Ireland in August and is an adaptation of the bestseller of the same name by Liane Moriarty, who also wrote the novel Big Little Lies was based on.
The plot synopsis for the series reads: "Nine Perfect Strangers takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living.
"Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort's director, Masha (Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies.
"However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them."
Intrigued? Wait until you see the cast list. Joining Kidman in the show is Melissa McCarthy (Spy), Michael Shannon (The Shape of Water), Luke Evans (The Hobbit), Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire), Regina Hall (Girls Trip), Samara Weaving (Ready or Not), Manny Jacinto (The Good Place) and more.
The series was created by Kelly and John-Henry Butterworth (Edge of Tomorrow, Ford v Ferrari) and all eight of its episodes are directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50, Long Shot).
Nine Perfect Strangers will premiere in Ireland on Amazon Prime Video on 20 August.
