In an exclusive chat with JOE Editor Paddy McKenna on Facebook Live, Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson has confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch will indeed be starring alongside The Avengers in the upcoming Infinity War.

The very talented Russo Brothers - who we previously chatted to about Captain America: Civil War - will be back on familiar ground as The Avengers look set to do battle against their greatest foe, the all-powerful Thanos and his gauntlet that's brimming with Infinity Stones.

Very little plot details are known about the 2018 release, but if you can't wait until then, we highly recommend a trip to your cinema to check out Doctor Strange.

A word of warning, stay until the end credits (wink, wink)
