Rick and Morty Season 4

Ah Jeez!

In the immortal words of Mr Meeseeks “existence is pain” but the news that the Season 4 premiere of of Rick and Morty airs on Adult Swim this week should help the pain.

Well, things are about to get even better because Channel 4 has confirmed that the adventures of  will air exclusively in the UK on Channel 4 in January 2020.

For those that can’t wait that long, tune into Adult Swim when it airs on 10 November.

Truth be told, we really wanted Ants in my Eyes Johnson to break that news. In fact, we’ve even taken the liberty of writing his speech;

“I’m Ants in My Eyes Johnson here at Ants in My Eyes Johnson’s Electronics! I mean, there’s so many ants in my eyes! And there’s so many TVs! Microwaves! Radios, I think! I can’t, I’m not 100% sure what we have here in stock, because I can’t see anything! Our prices, I hope, aren’t too low!  Season 4 of Rick and Morty will be shown on Channel 4, but that doesn’t matter because I can’t see anything! I’m Ants in My Eyes Johnson! Everything’s black! I can’t see a thing! And also, I can’t feel anything either, did I mention that?,” he said (we guess).

The season will be split over two parts with each one consisting of five episodes. The new episodes will be shown on Channel 4, with repeats on E4 too.

Ian Katz, Director of Programmes, and a person that’s not Ants in my Eyes Johnson, has said: “Millions of fans have been waiting for more than two years for a new series of Rick and Morty, the most brilliantly bonkers show on television. We’re thrilled that it will be aired exclusively on Channel 4 and I promise it will be worth the wait.”

For those interested, the episode titles are: Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat, The Old Man and the Seat, One Crew over the Crewcoo’s Morty, Claw and Hoarder: Special Ricktim’s Morty, and Rattlestar Ricklactica.

With regards to the new episodes, special guest voices include the likes of Paul Giamatti, Kathleen Turner, Taika Waititi, and Sam Neill.

We can’t wait.

Take a look at some of the madness that’s about to unfold.
