Great news for those trying to catch up on all the movies ahead of the Oscars.

Basically, the Super Bowl for movie lovers, the 95th Academy Awards is right around the corner.

Due to take place on 12 March, now is about the time when film fans should be catching up on all of the Oscar nominees if they want to have informed opinions regarding the winners and losers on the big night.

Thankfully, Omniplex is making this a little easier for people as the cinema chain will be screening each of the movies up for the Best Picture prize on the big screen again in the run-up to the ceremony.

And if you need a reminder of the nominees in the category, they are the following:

  • All Quiet on the Western Front
  • Avatar: The Way of Water
  • The Banshees of Inisherin
  • Elvis
  • Everything Everywhere All at Once
  • The Fabelmans
  • Tár
  • Top Gun: Maverick
  • Triangle of Sadness
  • Women Talking

“Join us in select Omniplex Cinemas from Friday, 24 February as we celebrate the 95th Academy Awards Nominees for Best Picture,” the cinema chain wrote on Twitter.

“Dedicating a day to each of the nominees with the winner screened from Monday, 13 to Thursday, 16 March.”

The first week of the cinema chain’s Best Picture nominee screenings will include All Quiet on the Western Front, The Banshees of Inisherin, Elvis, Everything Everywhere All at Once and Top Gun: Maverick.

Meanwhile, the second week will feature Avatar: The Way of Water, The Fabelmans, Tár, Triangle of Sadness and Women Talking.

Then, whatever winds up winning Best Picture will be screened once again from 13-16 March.
